Right To Work Protest 18/05/'10

The following are photos of the 2nd Right To Work campaing on the 18th of May attended by members of the 32csm from Dublin, Cork, and Kerry. Republicans from 32csm and Eirigi and members of SWP and anarchists were subjected to an aggresive and very provocative charge by gardai on horses trying to prevent the march proceeding to Anglo Irish Bank's HQ then on to Leinster House. However everyone was determined to break through the huge number of gardai hemming us in, the determination of all involved is to be comended as we succeeded in breaking through. A similar protest is due to take place next Tuesday.

Maghaberry Nightmare Continues

Dublin 32csm in solidarity with the Maghaberry POWs.

The McGowan –McLoughlin cumann of the 32csm condemns the continuing abuse of the prisoners in Roe House in Maghaberry prison. These men are on 23 hour lockdown and denied recreation and association. This is a situation that has left the men isolated and vulnerable. The prison officers have also continued in the tradition left to them by H Block screws by assaulting republican prisoners. Turlough McAllister is the latest victim of these brutal tactics, he was savagely assaulted by a number of wardens and has now been left with only a t shirt and tracksuit bottoms to wear, with a bucket to relieve himself. This degrading treatment of political prisoners does not go unnoticed or unchallenged. We urge all republicans to stand behind our comrades in Maghaberry at this time. The process of criminalization has not gone away and just as it was fought against by the blanket men and hunger strikers so too must we take a stand in defence of the rights of these men.
